Ella Brewer, who was both cook and housekeeper at ESR was hired by Wil Cooper in the very early days of the seminary. Also known as mentor and friend, she retired in 1978 and was most fondly remembered by one and all as the "Queen" of ESR.

Keith Esch and Tom Mullen will be present to lead the service to honor the memory of Ella, who passed away in September at the age of 98.

Join folks from the Bethany community for some fall harvest fun on Friday October 26th. We will begin at 7pm by making a trip to the giant corn maze at Today's Harvest Farm , located about one mile east of the Indiana state line on U.S. Highway 40. The people at the farm are giving us a great discounted rate of only $5 per person!

Around 9pm we'll head to Haley and Joanna's house for a bonfire. There will be light refreshments provided at the bonfire. (You may want to bring a folding chair along with you.) If you can't come to both activities, come to whichever you can! For those that need transportation or would like to carpool we will meet at the large parking lot behind the Bethany center (NOT the one on U.S. 40) at 6:45. Students, faculty, staff, family, and friends are all invited to attend. We look forward to seeing you there!
